My sentiment on it is: even if it's not a racing tire, as long as you're vastly below the load rating and running radial, you can pretend it is for your ordinary hooning. Expensive to burn, but on a hot rod if you're doing much over 120 you may be living dangerously anyway.

But, that's me with no pretensions beyond future track days, not doing any actual endurance or real racing.

I admit I do like that they have suppliers for mold-correct bias-plies. That being said, they're pretty good about having slightly saner options from the name brands - though at name brand prices still.
